Founder & CEO
Mr. Patel is the founder and CEO of SOS. Under his leadership the company has grown to support key U.S. government, commercial, and international programs with personnel deployed across the globe. With 12 years of technical and programmatic experience, Mr. Patel has ensured the successful completion of high-profile, global engineering and operational efforts requiring 24/7/365 support. SOS has been named multiple times on the Inc500 list of America’s fastest growing private companies. Prior to SOS, Mr. Patel worked with the CERDEC Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD) as a Sr. Engineer and Lead Imagery Analyst, where he received the NVESD Technical Achievement Award, U.S. Army Commander’s Civilian Medal, and Global War on Terrorism Medal. During this time, Mr. Patel was instrumental in the development, enhancement, and implementation of innovative and critical technologies for U.S. forces.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Morris is SOS’s CFO, bringing over 30 years of experience as a financial executive in government contracting and Wall Street. Mr. Morris oversees all accounting, finance, human resources, and contract administration activities at SOS. He brings expertise in finance, accounting, and business and strategic planning for a range of small and large businesses, including several Fortune 100 companies. Prior to SOS, Mr. Morris served as CFO at government contracting companies Barbaricum, LLC; Apprio, Inc.; RN Solutions; and Lincoln Group, as well as at two portfolio companies. He also previously served as Managing Director in the Media and Telecommunications Group of New York-based J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. Mr. Morris holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Finance) and Master of International Management, along with CMMI Level 3 certification.
Dr. Butler serves as SOS’s Chief Scientist, overseeing all software engineering, development, and programming activities and personnel. He brings over 16 years of experience leading software development projects for U.S. government, commercial, and international clients, specializing in the GIS and remote sensing fields. Dr. Butler developed SOS’s GeoFOCIS software, which is currently being operated by U.S. government clients in support of geospatial missions. Prior to SOS, Dr. Butler served as Lead Developer and Technical Lead for projects such as the TerraSight™, VideoQuest™, and IARPA’s Spatio-Temporal Analysis and Reasoning (STAR) project. He holds a PhD in Image & Video Processing and has been awarded the Australian Postgraduate Award; Vice Chancellor’s Award; and Speech, Audio, Image, & Video Technologies Award for his development efforts.
Director of Flight Test
Mr. Barker leads SOS’s flight test and rapid prototyping teams, responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing complex engineering and systems integration projects. He is a skilled engineer across a variety of scientific, mathematic, and technological disciplines and experienced in designing, fabricating, integrating, testing, and maintaining various technology and equipment in support of SOS programs. For example, Mr. Barker developed SOS’s Mission Commander (MC) Control data acquisition system, which has been instrumental in several U.S. government aircraft receiving airworthiness releases. Mr. Barker oversees all engineering and prototyping activities at SOS’s Production Facility in Harrisonburg, VA, ensuring high-quality engineering support to U.S. government, commercial, and international clients.
Senior Engineering Designer
Mr. Johnson leads engineering design efforts at SOS in support of systems engineering and integration programs. He brings 13 years of experience in the aerospace and manufacturing field, managing engineering and design teams working on high-profile U.S. military C4ISR programs. Prior to SOS, Mr. Johnson served as Engineering Design Manager at Leidos/SAIC and Lead Mechanical Designer at Numatics Actuator where he has provided design and engineering support for various special project integration programs. He is highly skilled in creating and overseeing concept designs and detailed fabrication, assembly, and installation drawing packages, ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
Business Development Manager
Mr. Jablonski oversees efforts to drive business growth at SOS, establishing and cultivating customer and partner relationships to deliver winning solutions. Mr. Jablonski brings 13 years of experience providing expert-level leadership and business development in the Intelligence Community for small and large businesses. His previous roles have included overseeing strategic business development efforts for organizations such as Leidos, CGI, and Radiance Technologies. His technical background includes geospatial and signals intelligence analysis, training, and targeting operations. Prior to joining industry, Mr. Jablonski served as an intelligence analyst in the U.S. Army.
Ms. Corbett leads all capture and proposal initiatives at SOS, overseeing the planning, development, and submission of solutions in support of U.S. government, commercial, and international efforts. Ms. Corbett is experienced managing the entire capture/proposal lifecycle and leading large proposal teams consisting of internal and external stakeholders. Prior to SOS, she served in roles such as Sr. Proposal Manager and Proposal Manager at Barbaricum, LLC and Dynamic Aviation Group, Inc. where she managed successful prime proposal efforts for high-profile U.S. government contracts ranging up to $750M in value. Ms. Corbett holds an APMP Foundation Level certification and is a member of the APMP National Capital Region (NCA) Chapter.
